Easy 3-Step Protein Banana Pancakes

These pancakes are packed with protein and nutrients, but most importantly, taste so great, they're sure to make everyone in your home happy. Fuel up with this post workout meal and protein packed breakfast that will leave you feeling ready to take on the day. 

 

Yield:

Makes 4-6 pancakes depending on size

 

Ingredients:  

¼ cup Farm to Muscle whey protein powder 

2 tablespoons coconut flour 

1 large ripe banana 

1 large egg 

1 teaspoon vanilla 

Coconut oil for cooking 

 

Directions: 

  1. In a large deep bowl add the protein powder, coconut flour, ripe banana, egg, and vanilla. Blend using an immersion blender. Alternatively you can add all to a high-speed blender as well.
  1. In a large skillet add a bit of the coconut oil and heat over medium heat.  Add about a ¼ cup of batter and cook until you see bubbles. Turn and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Repeat until all batter is used.
  1. Top with fresh sliced bananas, maple syrup, and chopped nuts. Enjoy!
