Black Bean Hummus

This is a great addition to fall football parties and they will never know you’ve added protein. Serve with tortilla chips or your favorite vegetables. Our crew can't stop snacking on this delicious and easy dip!

 

Yield:

Makes about 3 ½ cups

 

Ingredients: 

15 oz. can garbanzo beans, well drained 

15 oz. can black beans, rinsed and well drained 

2 tablespoons tahini paste 

 2 scoops Farm to Muscle egg white protein powder 

½ jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely diced 

 ¼ cup cilantro 

 6 garlic cloves 

1 ½ teaspoon cumin 

 ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika 

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper 

 3-4 tablespoons avocado oil, to thin

 

Directions: 

  1. In a food processor or high speed blender add all the ingredients except the avocado oil and pulse or blend on high until smooth.
  1. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add 1-2 tablespoons of avocado oil and blend on high. Add remaining avocado oil if the mixture to if you need it to be thinner.
